K-12

The Center of Advanced Manufacturing, Contract & Customized Training works closely with the partners in the K-12 system to encourage hands on, career and technical education. We work to offer experiences for students of all ages to technology. The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is the primary agency charged with overseeing K-12 public education in Washington state, which has a focus on Career and Technical education, offering students an opportunity to explore and learn how core subjects are used in real life.

"Students who take CTE classes as well as academic classes in high school are better prepared for the working world, meet performance requirements of more employers, and earn higher salaries."
