Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training

Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (I-BEST) pairs English as a second language (ESL) / adult basic education (ABE) instructors with professional-technical instructors in the classroom to provide students with literacy education and workforce skills at the same time. GetAMPT! Summer Manufacturing Camp

Gonzaga University, Spokane WA, July 11-17

WA State Centers of Excellence teamed together with Washington Business Week for the first statewide manufacturing camp for high school students. The title "Get AMPT!" stands for Aerospace, Marine, and Process Technology. 30 students from across the state participated in a full week of manufacturing and business related activities.
